The best time for a Botswana safari
There is no wrong time — only different experiences. The dry season (June–October) brings peak game viewing and the Delta’s famous floodwaters; it is spectacular, and it books out first. The green season (November–March) trades some visibility for dramatic skies, newborn wildlife and value of up to 50% less. The shoulder months of April, May and November offer the best of both.
